Profile

Your Mosaic profile is the heart of your presence on our platform, showcasing your Blocks (authenticated records of your work) and highlighting your professional journey. Here's what you need to know:

Bio Section

At the top of your profile, you'll find your Bio section. This area contains your name, username, role, a short bio about yourself, and an external link (like your LinkedIn profile, online portfolio, or personal website). You can update these details at any time in the Account section of your navigation.

Blocks

Just below your Bio, you'll see your Blocks. These are authenticated records of work that you've completed for specific projects. When you first create an account, you'll have a simple block with a "+" icon. Click this, or the "Add Block" button in the top right corner of the page header, to start adding your first Block.

After creating your first Block the grid will appear. This is to categorize your various Blocks whether they're approved, pending, or even rejected. This is a central place to view what's been authenticated and what hasn't.

Getting Started Wizard

Underneath your Blocks, there's a simple guide on how to get started with Mosaic. It provides helpful tips on adding Blocks, adding collaborators, sharing your profile, and incorporating Mosaic into your online portfolios or resume.

When you click the Menu icon in the top left of the header, you'll see your navigation options. You'll also find a Search icon. You can use this to search by username or name to find and view other Mosaic profiles.

Completing your Profile

Finishing up your Mosaic account by adding a profile picture, updating your username, and filling in other profile details is easy to do and neccessary to have a more rounded experience of Mosaic. Here's what you can do to finish up:

Profile picture

A picture is worth a thousand words! Your profile picture is the first thing people see when they visit your Mosaic profile. It personalizes your profile and helps people recognize you. To add or change your profile picture, go to the Account Settings and click on the profile picture area. You can then upload a clear, professional headshot that represents you well.

Username

Your username is a unique identifier on Mosaic. Initially, Mosaic assigns you a random username, but you should change it as soon as possible to something that reflects your real name or professional brand. To do this, navigate to your Account Settings, locate the username field, and enter your preferred username. Remember, this should be something easy to remember and share with others.

Filling in the Blanks

A complete profile tells a complete story. Make sure you fill out all the details in your profile, including your current role, company, a short bio about yourself, and an external link like LinkedIn or your personal website. Updating these details gives visitors a quick overview of who you are professionally and where they can learn more about you.
